Jackie is a chartered surveyor. Prior to joining Corridor Manchester, she worked at Blackpool Council. Here, she led the Council’s contribution to the physical and economic regeneration of Blackpool, working closely with ReBlackpool URC.

Lesley Lomax, Head of Marketing

Lesley was previously Innovation Manager at Manchester: Knowledge Capital; prior to that, she was Business Development Manager at MIDAS, Manchester’s inward investment agency, where she worked on the BBC Move North project.

Peter Fell, Strategic Director

Peter is Director of Regional and Economic Affairs at The University of Manchester, leading the University’s day-to-day strategic partnership with Corridor Manchester. Peter works closely with Jackie to develop the strategic opportunities that enable the partnership to deliver its vision.

Neil Fountain, Consultant

Neil supports Jackie with the ongoing development of Corridor Manchester’s vision and operational plan. He takes particular responsibility for initiating action in key programme areas. Until 2006, Neil was CEO of MIDAS, and since then has helped many organisations develop strategies and improve management capabilities.

Steve Grant, Head of Workforce Planning and Skills

Steve has been seconded to Corridor Manchester from his role as Assistant Director of HR at The University of Manchester. Steve is responsible for Corridor Manchester’s local employment, skills and training strategy and programmes and develops partnerships with the universities and local service providers.

Lisa Ashurst, Public Relations Consultant

Lisa works closely with Lesley to help deliver public relations and communications activity for Corridor Manchester. Until October 08 Lisa spent six years as head of communications for property developer Urban Splash.
