University Place

University Place is an impressive new building at the heart of the University of Manchester campus that provides a range of services and facilities for staff, students and visitors to the University campus.

It is the location for the University Visitors Centre, a shop, café and restaurant and a range of teaching rooms and student support services. Facilities include a 1000 seat state-of-the-art lecture theatre.

The venue is the latest addition to the University’s extensive conference portfolio. It is an ideal venue for large national and international conferences and high profile events, and boasts a large number of flexible, flat floored rooms for discussion groups. It has been fitted out with the most up to date audio–visual aids and there is a highly qualified technical support team on site, who can also advise on WiFi and wired internet access around the building.
