Southern Gateway
The Southern Gateway is the entrance to Manchester city centre where Wilmslow Road becomes Oxford Road.
This significant approach to the city is home to the Whitworth Art Gallery and park, opposite which commences the Central Manchester University Hopsitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) and University of Manchester campuses.
Several development projects have ensured and will continue to ensure that this gateway is reflective of the knowledge and cultural identity that is the Corridor.
