(CMFT) Saint Mary's Hospital
Saint Mary’s Hospital was founded in 1790 and over the years has successfully developed a wide range of world class medical services for women, babies and children as well as a comprehensive Genetics Centre. The hospital now delivers around 6,000 babies each year. There are around 1,200 staff who provide the highest standards of care in areas including:
- Obstetrics/Maternity (including more complex fetal & maternal medicine)
- Gynaecology (including Urological Gynaecology, Reproductive Medicine/IVF and Gynaecology Oncology)
- Genetics (including clinical and laboratory services)
- Newborn Intensive Care
- Sexual Assault Referral Centre (for both Adults and Children)
The hospital has an internationally recognised teaching and research portfolio and its leading edge services are tailored to meet with the needs of the local population and for patients with complex medical conditions referred from other areas throughout the North West and further afield.
