MMU Faculty of Health, Psychology & Social Care

Manchester Metropolitan University’s (MMU) Faculty of Health, Psychology & Social Care offers a wide portfolio of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional programmes on both a full and part-time basis. Together these programmes span a range of academic disciplines within the caring and enabling professions, including social work, psychology, nursing, social change, community work, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy and other health-related subjects.

The Faculty’s programmes prepare students for their future professional lives and there is added depth to the student experience in that multi-professional links across the various subject disciplines mirror those which graduates will experience in employment. The freshness and vibrancy of the programmes are achieved by academic staff’s regular engagement with the agencies and organisations providing practice placements, by close association with the professional bodies.
