Manchester Science Parks

For over 25 years, Manchester Science Parks (msp) has supported the growth of innovative companies across sectors such as ICT, biotechnology, industrial technologies and digital media.

From a park with just one building (Enterprise House) in 1984, msp has become one of the leading science parks in the UK, an integral component of Manchester’s knowledge economy and a supportive home to some 125 high tech tenant companies.

As well as high quality office space, msp deliver their tenants first rate business development support including seminars, networking events, access to academic resources and a free PR service. By providing introductions to programmes, people and funding they help companies to grow and to sustain that growth.

A new masterplan has been developed to ensure msp can continue to expand over the next 25 years. The masterplan will reshape msp’s 9.3 hectare Corridor site, creating 250,000 sq ft of new floor space. This will increase the total amount of lettable space at the site to 470,000 sq ft.

Whilst increasing lettable space, msp will also introduce an open public space at the heart of the development which will be central to transforming the campus environment, creating a meeting point for research staff, academics and visitors.
