Manchester Museum
The University of Manchester’s Manchester Museum is a place that captures the imagination.
The museum is particularly well known for Egyptology, birds and mammals, dinosaurs and live amphibians with the collection comprising of almost 4.25 million specimens and objects.
Visitors can explore the Museum’s 15 galleries to see objects from the four corners of the world and almost every period in history.
Entry to the Museum is free of charge. Alongside the collections, the Museum run a packed programme of events appealing to a wide variety of audiences, many of which are free to join in also.
