(Former) BBC Oxford Road Site

The former BBC Oxford Road site is the largest single development area in central Manchester and is owned by Realty Estates. The 2.18 hectare site became available for redevelopment as part of the BBC’s move to new headquarters at MediaCity in Salford Quays.

The building and the site form a crucial part of the city’s ongoing regeneration and the redevelopment of the Oxford Road Corridor area.

Development plans are not yet established but Manchester City Council is looking towards a mixed-use development that brings business together with the traditional university and hospital focus on the Corridor.
