David is a Senior Consultant Adviser to the Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) and the Deputy Chairman of the CMFT Charity Fundraising Board. He is Chairman of the Manchester Health Academy and Chairman of the Corridor Manchester Executive Team.
David`s earlier career was as an NHS Chief Executive of a number of NHS Trusts in Manchester and Liverpool and currently he is Vice-Chairman of the National Executive Committee of Managers in Partnership (MiP) representing Senior NHS Managers, he serves on the National Executive Committee of the First Division Association of Civil Servants (FDA)
His interest in Charities extend to his role as Chairman of the Pain Relief Foundation in Liverpool and as a Board member of the Ronald McDonald House Charity ( Manchester) and also as Deputy Chairman of the Alex Group Care Home for Disabled Adults in Accrington., Lancashire.
